As part of wider fleet operational management, STATSCo required assistance in early project phases and to support operational decision making and learning opportunities.
In particular, a requirement for an in–house simulation capability was identified to support wide ranging ship and terminal navigation risk assessments, feasibility studies and incident replay analysis.
After supporting STASCo over 25 years with extensive project engineering support using BMT REMBRANDT, STATSCo acquired an office-based mini bridge system.
BMT REMBRANDT configuration included its advanced digital forensics module, for use with VDR and AIS data feeds for rapid £D incident reconstruction, replays and reflective learning.
Jim Brown, Marine Facilities Manager at STASCo said: “Having used BMT’s services for many years, we recognize the value in having access to the REMBRANDT simulator software in house, to assist in feasibility studies at the early project phases and to support operational decision making and learning opportunities.”
A number of terminal feasibility studies were supported using the STATSCo in-house BMT REMBRANDT system, as well as incident reconstructions to provide rapid insight.
The US National Transportation Safety Board's Office of Marine Safety has installed our fully certified BMT REMBRANDT simulator system.
BMT REMBRANDT was chosen by Harland and Wolff and utilised its latest S-100 compliant ENC platform, developed in close cooperation with the United Kingdom Hydrographic Office(UKHO).
BMT was appointed by Antara Pte Ltd to conduct mooring analysis for the proposed Singapore LNG terminal secondary and tertiary berths at Jurong Island.
The import of natural gas (NG) in Cyprus is a project of national, cross-border and European importance. As part of the wider infrastructure design challenges, ETYFA required support identifying risks and mitigations associated with the unique and complex undertaking. We provided risk assessments successfully supported stakeholder engagement and the wider understanding of mitigations.
