China has pledged to support Hong Kong’s development of high-value goods inventory management and Regional Distribution Centres (RDCs).
In view of this, the Hong Kong Government appointed BMT to carry out a study to identify Hong Kong’s competitive position in this service area.
Examining Hong Kong’s strengths and weaknesses as an RDC against regional contenders, the study commanded a large response base from credible sources within a limited timeframe.
This was made possible through BMT’s wide network and reputation.
Market observations, reinforced by the study’s statistical results, formed the basis of the strategic measures delivered by BMT that Hong Kong should take in maintaining a sustainable distribution sector.
