Panagiotis (Panos) graduated as a Deck Officer from the Merchant Marine Academy of Macedonia in Greece in 2016 and obtained his Captain Class C certificate in 2018. Whilst gathering seagoing experience, up to the rank of captain and on board very differing types of vessels ranging from bulk carriers and tankers to fishing and passenger vessels, he continued with his studies and obtained an Advanced Diploma in Marine Surveying in 2021.

After coming ashore in 2021, he joined internationally renowned Classification Society - inspection / surveying company, Bureau Veritas in Greece, and continued improving his professional basis. He obtained an Advanced Professional Diploma in Flag State Inspections & Classification Surveys as well as a Certificate of Professional Competence as Class Surveyor in 2023. He moved to the Netherlands in 2024.
