The UK Ministry of Defence’s Air Defence and Electronic Warfare Systems (ADEWS) programme required a robust and independent means of assessing the in-service performance of land-based radar and simulation training systems.
The system needed to collect accurate, real-time data on equipment usage, incidents, and maintenance to determine whether contractual requirements and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) were being achieved.
The customer also required secure access for multiple stakeholders to monitor and analyse data collaboratively, ensuring transparency and value for money.
We delivered the ADEWS-RAMtr@ck service, an advanced performance measurement and asset management information system.
Drawing on over 30 years of experience in defence analytics, we designed a flexible, web-enabled platform capable of both online and offline operation.
ADEWS-RAMtr@ck captures detailed information on system usage, failures, defects, and maintenance activities, providing a full picture of operational performance.
It enables operators and maintainers to log data in real time, with automated reporting dashboards that visualise availability, utilisation, and reliability.
The system supports performance-based contracting by offering accurate, independently verified metrics against contractual standards.
Through ADEWS-RAMtr@ck, the customer gained total visibility of equipment performance across multiple radar and training assets.
The service enables early identification of weaknesses, informed decisions on system upgrades, and justification for future investment.
Its intuitive reporting tools and independent validation promote trust between the MoD, suppliers, and maintainers.
The result is improved operational efficiency, reduced whole-life costs, and optimised asset availability.
By ensuring accurate, data-driven performance measurement, ADEWS-RAMtr@ck strengthens accountability, transparency, and the long-term effectiveness of the UK’s air defence training and support infrastructure.
Our RN-RAMtr@ck system delivered secure, real-time visibility of Royal Navy training asset performance—improving efficiency, reliability, and decision-making.
Following a launch of an initiative to improve transport safety in Tonga, BMT was invited by World Bank to identify what further assistance was needed to improve the ongoing safe operations of inter island shipping in Tonga.
Our predictive dredging solution helps port authorities minimize over-dredging, cut costs, and protect the environment.
We deployed a drone-enabled monitoring system using our BMT Deep platform to assess beach nourishment effectiveness. High-resolution aerial surveys, change detection algorithms, and elevation tracking allowed coastal managers to monitor sand movement over time. The platform enabled proactive interventions, informed future project planning, and streamlined stakeholder reporting.
