48m SOV

The BMT 48m SOV delivers safety, comfort and efficiency while minimising environmental impact. Building on our proven expertise in
windfarm support vessel design, the BMT 48m SOV meets the need for longer and more complex operation and maintenance tasks. Modelled on a diesel-electric platform and an optimised hullform, it also incorporates a methanol-ready design. 

Its SWATH designed hull chosen for its superior stability and seakeeping capabilities, is crucial for maintaining operational effectiveness and safety in rough waters, ensuring more comfortable transits for 40 turbine technicians and 16 crew and a safer platform for personnel during ship-to-turbine transfers, while also minimising noise and vibrations.

A 30m motion compensated gangway with step-free walk-to-work access is included for seamless workflow and to facilitate autonomous technology the vessel features an ROV bay and control room, and a dedicated 8.5m daughter craft.
